Owen Tries to Take it From Attie, Gets Quartered

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Big O

Alberto Attie potted from the small blind on {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for 14,400. Adam Owen called on the button and they saw a {6-Hearts} river. Attie checked and Owen put all his chips in. Attie quickly called and showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Spades} for a six-high straight and nut low. Owen had {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} for the same straight but an inferior low. Attie took three-quarters.

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Stuart Rutter opened to 550 under the gun before Jesse Martin three-bet the button to 1,500.

The action folded back to Rutter, and he called and drew one card as Martin stood pat.

Rutter led out for 3,200 only to have Martin bump it up to 13,000 total.

Rutter went deep into the tank for several minutes before eventually flinging his cards to the muck.

Board is Enough for Bleznick

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Jared Bleznick completed with the {4-Hearts} and Jon Turner defended the bring-in with {3-Clubs}. Bleznick proceeded to bet every street until the end.

Jon Turner: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades}/{x-}
Jared Bleznick: {x-}{x-}/{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}/{x-}

At that point, both players checked.

"That's it," Bleznick said, waving at his board.

It was enough, as Turner mucked and Bleznick rolled over {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Miaso Down Early

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Jared Bleznick's been encouraging everyone at Table 435 to pick pot-limit 2-7 triple draw. His reasoning, he said, is that he never gets to play it outside of this format. He also enjoys the big pots.

Sure enough, a huge pot developed between Jon Turner and Kyle Miaso. The former potted for 14,800 after the second draw and Miaso went into the tank for a couple of minutes before folding.

"This is why we play this game, guys," Bleznick said. "Big pots."
