Action folded to the player in the hijack and he raised to 38,000. John Nguyen shoved from the button for 123,000 and Craig Varnell made a pot-sized four-bet out of the small blind, putting the hijack to a decision for the remainder of his stack. He went into the tank for just under a minute before he ultimately called to put himself at risk.

Heroux Cracks Yang's Aces

With a large pot of about 250,000 alrfeady in the middle and a board of , Shaome Yang and Maxime Heroux were heads up with the action on Yang. Yang checked with Heroux checking back.

The river was a with the action again going check-check.

Yang tabled for a pair of aces but Heroux had him beat with for a set of tens and Heroux remains among the top chip counts in the room as day 2 rolls on.

Joseph Sanders was on the button and got his stack in before the flop against Rick Fuller, who was in the hijack and had him covered by a narrow margin.

Nick Jivkov opened the button to 32,000 with John Nguyen quickly putting in a pot sized three-bet to 106,000.

Jivkov went into the tank for a couple of minutes but eventually called without realizing Nqueyen only had 11,000 behind, the two both tossed in the extra chips. "Show now?" Asked Nguyen. Jivkov nodded and Nguyen rolled over for aces and the board ran out Jivkov was unable to beat it and Nguyen doubled to over 200,000.

There were about 80,000 chips already in the pot and the board read when we got to the table. Millard Hale bet 44,000 from the big blind, and after some consideration, Heroux made a pot-sized raise. The cutoff folded, as did Hale, and Heroux took the pot.
