Johnson Goes Runner-Runner

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Eric Blair started the day off on a hot streak and was hitting all the cards throughout the first level. Daniel Johnson three-bet to 14,100 on top of Blair's early position raise of 3,000. Blair then moved all in over the top and Johnson put in his remaining 4,000. Players revealed their hands and Johnson was at risk.

Daniel Johnson: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Eric Blair: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {5-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Blair was still ahead. The turn came the {k-Spades}, giving Blair a set, and Johnson needed a spade. The river did just that as the {2-Spades} landed, giving Johnson the flush and a double-up through Blair.
