Vornicu Sends Some Away

Level 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Picking up the action on the first draw with what looks like about 2,400 in the pot. The player in the small blind takes two, while the player in the big blind takes two as well. Valentin Vornicu sweats his cards then decides to take three. Action then checked over to Vornicu who bet, and both opponents called.

On the second draw the small blind took two while the big blind took one, Vornicu took two then when action checked to him, bet again. Both players called once more.

For the final draw, both blinds took one card apiece while Vornicu stood pat. Action checked to him for a third time and he bet. This time the small blind raised and the big blind immediately folded. Vornicu rubbed his head a bit thinking about the hand but eventually called.

The small blind showed his {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Vornicu mucked.

"I was really trying to think of what you could have when I drew three sevens," the small blind said.
