Heidenreich Triples Up, Then Busts

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Diego Heidenreich shoved all in for 1,500 from the under-the-gun position and action folded to Jesse Sylvia who raised to 9,500 from the button. David Peters was sitting in the big blind and took a few seconds but then called.

The flop came {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and after Peters check-folded to the bet of Sylvia, the remaining players showed their hands:

Diego Heidenreich: {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Jesse Sylvia: {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Heidenreich had flopped a pair of sixes, Sylvia needed an eight or ten to not let Heidenreich triple-up.

The rest of the board was completed with the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, so Heidenreich survived. Heidenreich's good fortune was short-lived, however, as one hand later Peters eliminated Heidenreich in a blind-versus-blind situation.
