Hands #68-74: Paur Doubles; Jacobson Triples

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Taylor Paur
Taylor Paur

Hand #68: Bart Lybaert raised to 180,000 from the button and Ying Chan called in the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Chan bet 100,000 and Lybaert folded.

Hand #69: Taylor Paur raised to 175,000 from the hijack and Lybaert three-bet to 500,000 from the cutoff. Paur folded.

Hand #70: Lybaert raised to 200,000 from the hijack and everyone else folded.

Hand #71: Lybaert raised to 200,000 from mid-position and Chan called in the cutoff. The flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Lybaert check-raised the 200,000 bet of Chan to put Chan all-in. Chan folded.

Hand #72: Michael Addamo raised to 200,000 from the button and Martin Jacobson called in the small blind. Paur was sitting in the big blind and looked at his cards. He contemplated for a bit and then three-bet to 750,000. Addamo folded immediately. Jacobson sized up Paur and then four-bet shoved to put Paur all-in. Paur snap-called.

Taylor Paur: {A-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Martin Jacobson: {K-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}, no danger for Paur as his ace-king held and he doubled up for the 3,880,000 he had in front of him. After Jacobson paid Paur, Jacobson was left with about 790,000.

Hand #73: Lybaert got a walk.

Hand #74: Jacobson moved all in from the cutoff for 780,000. Lybaert called in the small blind. And so did Mark Sleet in the big blind. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Lybaert bet 900,000 and Sleet folded.

Martin Jacobson: {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Bart Lybaert: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

They had both flopped a pair of jacks but Jacobson had the better of Lybaert with the ace-kicker. The rest of the board was completed with the {4-Spades} on the turn and the {3-Spades} on the river. Jacobson more than tripled up by winning this pot.
