O'Dell Cripples Sternheimer, Then Finishes Him

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Frankie O'Dell: {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Philip Sternheimer: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{A-Hearts}

Frankie O'Dell fired on fifth, sixth and seventh street and Philip Sternheimer called down all the bets, conceding the pot as O'Dell showed two pair and a seven-low. Sternheimer was left with just 300 in chips and he lost them on the very next hand.

Mike Matusow and O'Dell tangled for a side pot with Matusow's board featuring a pair of threes while O'Dell had three low cards out. O'Dell made a seven-low again while Matusow had two pair, nines and threes.

Sternheimer sweated his last card, having a gutshot and a flush draw, but the river missed to bring his tournament to a close.

"Nice playing with you, Phil," O'Dell and Matusow said before Sternheimer headed to the payout desk.
