Alexander Gets There Against Vitch

Level 8

Limit Hold'em

Not long ago, George Alexander was all in and at risk in a three-way showdown in a Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo hand but escaped to take the low portion of the pot. Just now, he was involved in a battle of the blinds with Christopher Vitch and the latter bet each street of a Hold'em hand on the board of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Alexander only had 6,000 behind after calling on the river and Vitch showed the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flush with the nine. Alexander had that beat with {J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the higher flush and chipped up. "Wow, what a run out," another player at the table remarked.
