Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Lee Salem: {X-}{X-} / {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} / {X-}

Salem bet fourth and fifth with Parvizi coming along before he took the betting lead on sixth, Salem called. One more bet each followed on seventh and Parvizi showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a pair of queens. Salem had that beat with {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} and scooped the pot, sending Parvizi to one million in chips.

Seven Card Hi-Lo

"Let's play a big pot," Parvizi joked in table chat and completed with a deuce, Randy Ohel raised and ultimately capped it at five bets, Parvizi called. Ohel bet fourth and Parvizi called before he paired his deuce on fifth. Parvizi bet all the way from there on and Ohel called.

"I have no idea what I have," Parvizi said upon showdown and turned over the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for aces up, once again one card after the other, sending Ohel down to fewer than half a million.

Parvizi in Full Attack Mode

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

John Hennigan raised and Iraj Parvizi called in the big blind. On the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Parvizi check-folded to a bet.

Then, Hennigan raised first to act, Parvizi three-bet in the small blind and David "Bakes" Baker four-bet from the big blind. Hennigan and Parvizi called and the latter checked dark on the {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. Baker bet and both opponents called. On the {6-Hearts} turn, Parvizi checked and Baker bet, Hennigan folded and Parvizi called.

Parvizi bet the {A-Clubs} river and Baker reluctantly called to get shown the {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, which he had beat with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Lee Salem raised first to act and was called by Parvizi on the button and Hennigan in the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and action checked to Parvizi, who bet. Hennigan raised to force out Salem, while Parvizi called. "You have a big kicker John?" he asked and Hennigan replied "I am not telling."

Hennigan bet the {5-Clubs} turn and picked up a call before also betting the {8-Clubs} river. Parvizi raised and Hennigan called.

"I have an eight," Parvizi announced and turned over the {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for trips eights.

Just one hand later most of the chips Parvizi had just won went right back to Hennigan on a board of {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Parvizi had invested 840,000 already with the {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and ended up second best in showdown against the [QdJh| of Hennigan.
