Vitch Makes a Pat Wheel

Nicholas Derke was all in and at risk after the first draw against Chris Vitch. Vitch was pat and Derke was drawing one. It wouldn't matter though as Derke was drawing to an {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-} while Vitch was pat with a {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, having got dealt a wheel.

Derke hit the rail in 20th place.

Klein and Calcano Clash

Steven Klein raised and Christian Calcano called. Both players drew two. Calcano checked, Klein bet, Calcano raised, Klein re-raised and Calcano called.

Calcano drew one and Klein stood pat. Calcano checked, Klein bet, Calcano raised and Klein re-raised all in for 22,500. Calcano called.

Both players stood pat.

"Do you have a wheel?" said Klein, and Calcano shook his head and tabled {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}

Klein showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and took down the pot and doubled up.

After the second draw was completed, Brian Hastings bet and called three-bets from Brian Tate. Hastings drew one and Tate patted.

Hastings checked, Tate bet, and after counting his stack, Hastings slid out a raise without much behind and Tate folded.

Bleznick Takes From Tate

Brian Tate raised under the gun and Jared Bleznick re-raised. Tate called. Both players took one and checked.

Both players drew one again and Tate bet, with Bleznick calling.

Tate stood pat and Bleznick took one. Tate check-called, but mucked when shown an {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} by Bleznick.

Salazar Eliminated by Chip Leader Tran

Jared Bleznick opened and got three callers: Hanh Tran, Hernan Salazar and John Bunch. Everyone drew two, apart from Bleznick who drew three. It checked to Tran who bet and all three players called.

Everyone drew two on the second draw apart from Tran who stood pat. It checked to him who bet. Salzar check-raised, with the other two folding, and Tran called.

On the third draw both players stood pat. Salazar bet and Tran snap-raised. Salazar would be all in to call, and he did so, mucking when shown the {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} of Tran.

"You make a lot of sevens," said tablemate Brian Hastings to Tran.
