Level 17 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jiacong Zhang raised to 3,000 from the button and was called by Christian Pham and Fahredin Mustafov in the blinds.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, and both Pham and Mustafov checked. Zhang bet 3,000 and Pham called. Mustafov then counted out his own stack and raised to 12,700. Markholt First Casualty of the Day

Level 16 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Lee Markholt
Lee Markholt

The board read {J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} and there was about 60,000 in the middle already.

Arkadiy Tsinis shoved all in from under the gun and Lee Markholt had to make a decision. If he called, he would be at risk of being eliminated. He kept staring at the board and glancing at Tsinis. After about two minutes, Markholt threw in a 100-value chip as a call.

Tsinis flipped over {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the turned straight. Markholt looked at his own cards again but then got up and mucked them. Harry Lodge told the dealer that the cards had to be shown. The dealer turned over Markholt's cards which were {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for top pair, and he is out.

The river completed the board with the {J-Spades}, and D'Ambrosio quickly bet 3,500. Pantaleo glanced at D'Ambrosio and then called. Williams folded. D'Ambrosio tabled {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and was beaten by the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} of Pantaleo.
