Mike Shin

Scott Clements raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Mike Shin called from the big blind. They went heads up to the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and Shin checked. Clements bet 43,000 and Shin check raised all in for about 65,000. Clements called and the hands were shown.

Clements: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Shin: {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The dealer burned and turned the {k-Hearts} and the river was the {9-Spades} to earn Clement the pot and the knockout. Shin is our 23rd place Event #30: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha and will take home $6,037 for his efforts.

Aineias Protopapas Eliminated in 24th Place ($6,037)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Aineias Protopapas
Aineias Protopapas

Aineias Protopapas and Ryan Turner were heads up on the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and there was already over 40,000 in the pot. Protopapas checked and Turner slid out a stack of 45,000. Protopapas called for his last 33,000 turning over {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Turner shows {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and the {q-Spades} river improved Turner to the nut straight to earn the pot and the elimination. Protopapas is our 24th place Event #30: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha finisher earning $6,037 for his efforts.

John Beauprez Eliminated in 25th Place ($6,037)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
John Beauprez
John Beauprez

George Xu raised to 15,000 from under the gun, Pushpinder Singh called from the cutoff, and John Beauprez three-bet to 66,000 from the small blind. Xu called and Singh called, as well.

The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Beauprez shoved for about 90,000. After brief consideration, Xu called with the larger of the two stacks by a narrow margin. Singh folded and the two live players tabled their hands.

George Xu: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
John Beauprez: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Both players flopped trip queens but Beauprez had the best of it with the better kicker. Beauprez retained his lead on the {6-Spades} turn, but the {J-Spades} hit the river to give Xu queens full of jacks to win the pot and end Beauprez's run in this tournament.

Ramdin Doubles Twice

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Victor Ramdin
Victor Ramdin

Scott Clements raised to 20,000 from late position and Victor Ramdin moved all in from the cutoff for 55,000. Danny Woolard raised the pot from the button and Clements folded.

Woolard turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Ramdin showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}. "I have a flush draw," joked Ramdin before the dealer spread the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. Ramdin flopped top two pair and the turn {3-Clubs} and river {j-Diamonds} were no help to Woolard.

Just one hand later, there was already about 140,000 in the pot on the {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Clements moved a stack of orange chips forward, covering Ramdin who called for his last 65,000. Clements showed {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Ramdin turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

The turn {5-Diamonds} and river {8-Diamonds} were no help to Clement and Ramdin doubled for a second time with aces and eights.

Aaron Henderson Eliminated in 26th Place ($6,037)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Aaron Henderson
Aaron Henderson

Aaron Henderson raised to 15,000 from middle position, Farid Jattin was next to act and three-bet to 49,000, and Hernandez four-bet to 150,000. After brief consideration, Jattin called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Henderson moved all in for what looked like about 100,000. Jattin quickly called to put him at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Aaron Henderson: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Farid Jattin: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Henderson had the lead with aces and the nut-flush draw but Jattin had lots of room to improve with his wrap. The {9-Spades} on the turn made Jattin's straight and left Henderson in need of help on the river. The {3-Spades} changed nothing and Jattin took the pot to end Henderson's run in this tournament.
