"And the Madness Continues"

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

On fifth street, Frank Athey was all in against Jameson Painter while short stack Vincent Newland was already at risk.

Frank Athey: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} / {9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Jameson Painter: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} / {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Painter had the lead with a set of sevens but Athey spiked the {K-Diamonds} on sixth and the {J-Clubs} on seventh, while Painter got the {9-Hearts} and {Q-Hearts} run out. Newland had already mucked his cards by then and headed to the rail, and Athey escaped from an exit just before the money bubble.

Another player at the table remarked "and the madness continues" as the hand came to an end.
