On a raised pot, with around 2,500 already in the middle, the flop was showing {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Scotty Nguyen and his opponent checked.

A {4-Hearts} fell on the turn and Nguyen check-folded after his opponent made a bet for half of the pot.

The 1998 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion and owner of five WSOP gold bracelets entered the tournament has now a stack a little bit above the starting stack.

Pomaret Out

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

A player opened to 650 in late position and Michel Pomaret, in small blind, pushed his remaining stack in the middle for 3,650. His opponent called and the players tabled their cards:

Michel Pomaret: {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
His opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts} gave Pomaret some hopes, but the {7-Diamonds} turn and {4-Hearts} river didn't improve his hand and the French player was sent to the rail.

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

In case you missed it earlier, Victor Ramdin has been multi-tabling both the 'Seniors' event and the '$1,500 Pot Limit' event today. After going from 800 to 9,500 chips in just three hands here in the 'Seniors' he went back to Event #30 and built up a top three-stack with 67 players remaining.

Ramdin has now returned to the Brasilia room to try and forge ahead in the 'Seniors' once again.

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

The board read {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} when Walter White called the all-in from Robert Vespa.

Walter White: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Robert Vespa: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

"I need the board to fill," said Vespa, after seeing his trip tens was behind to White's nut flush.

"It did!" responded several players at the table after the river fell the {7-Spades}, and Vespa hit a full house to swoop the pot and survive.

Donev Loses Some Chips

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

Ivo Donev under the gun opened to 700 and was called by three players.

The flop fell {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and all the players checked. On the {q-Diamonds} turn, John Andrews bet 1,300 from the small blind, Donev folded and only Donald Masuda made the call.

A {q-Spades} appeared on the river and Andrews fired 3,000. It was quickly called by Masuda, who mucked his hand when Andrew showed {3-Spades}{4-Spades} for a full house.
