Munro Busts Saliba

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

There were three players in the pot when Richard Munro bet 7,500 on a board that read {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}. One player folded before Gabe Saliba made the call for about half of his stack.

On the river {7-Diamonds} Saliba's all in was snap called by Munro.

Gabe Saliba: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Richard Munro: {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The river was a real action card as Saliba hit a set of sevens and Munro hit a straight. Saliba, who was one of the most consistent chip builders during day one, saw his run in the Seniors Championship ended in unfortunate fashion.

Nguyen Loses a Small Pot

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

At the last hand before the break, the flop was showing {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} when Scotty Nguyen in middle position checked. It was also checked by three players behind him.

The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn and after Nguyen bet 6,500 and only the player in the hijack made the call. A {7-Diamonds} fell on the river and both players checked. Nguyen tossed his hand into the muck after his opponent tabled {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

Collins Wins a Big Pot

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Thimothy McReynolds opened and a player moved all-in for his last 10,500 chips. William Collins in the big blind made the call, as well as McReynolds.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Collins pushed everything in the middle for around 11,000 left. McReynolds folded and Collins tabled {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of kings. His opponent, holding {a-Spades}{q-Spades}, was in bad shape to survive and the {9-Clubs} turn and {6-Clubs} didn't change anything.

O'Donnell Chips Down

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Kevin O'Donnell opened to 6,600 and faced an all-in shove from the player in the hijack for 22,000. O'Donnell, after some thought, opted to call, creating the following showdown:

Kevin O'Donnell: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
His opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

O'Donnell had the dominated hand and the {k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} run out brought him no help.
