"Pleasure Doing Business With You"

Level 12 : 300/600, 0 ante

PLO-8

The action folded to Matthew Woodward in the cutoff who raised it up to 1,500. Phil Hellmuth called from the big blind and the two exchanged a smile as they knew they were going to battle again. The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Hellmuth checked to Woodward who bet 2,000. Hellmuth counted out his stack before just tossing in a call.

The turn brought the {a-Hearts} and both players checked to the {6-Clubs} on the river. Hellmuth checked one more time and Woodward pushed in a bet of 6,000.

Hellmuth sat upright in his chair, "Pleasure doing business with you sir," he said before mucking his cards. "I tried to trap you four times this hand. One time you're going to give me ten or fifteen thousand."

"It might happen," responded Woodward. "The shop is open."

Alexander Emerges as New Chip Leader

Level 12 : 300/600, 0 ante

Big-O

James Alexander sat in the small blind when it folded to him. He completed his small blind and the Jared Koppel checked his option in the big blind.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Clubs} and both players checked. Alexander checked again on the {9-Clubs} turn, but this time Koppel bet 900. Alexander folded.

Alexander is sitting behind a huge stack and is very likely the current chip leader of the tournament.

Cunningham Wins a Monster, McNeil Stays Alive

Level 11 : 250/500, 0 ante
Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham

Big-O

We arrived at the table to find Calen McNeil all in and his tournament life on the line. There was also a massive side pot brewing up between Allen Cunningham and Jonathan Shah. The board read {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and the action was on Shah who made a pot-sized bet of 17,025. Cunningham thought for a moment and then check-raised all in. Shah quickly called and was the player at risk for around 35,000.

All three hands were tabled with just one card to come. Cunningham held {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} while Shah turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. McNeil was cheering for one card to scoop the entire pot with {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}. "Give me a nine!" McNeil cheered.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Cunningham made the nut flush with the best low hand to scoop the massive side pot. He chopped the main pot with McNeil who had the nut low and Shah headed for the exit doors.

Goldfarb Doubles Through the Chipleader

Level 11 : 250/500, 0 ante

PLO-8

Peter Neff came into the day as the chipleader but has hit a roadblock early on. Neff raised it up to 1,500 from early position and was called by Robert Goldfarb in the cutoff. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Neff led out for 2,300. Goldfarb made the call and the {10-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Neff fired another 6,000 and Goldfarb stuck around to see the {2-Hearts} on the river. Neff opted to check this time and Goldfarb moved all in for 9,150. Neff thought for a minute and then announced a call. Goldfarb turned over {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a straight and the nut low. Neff was unable to beat either hand and threw his cards to the muck.

Omaha-8

The flop was {7-Spades}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and there were still three players involved in the hand. One of them was Chris Ferguson and he was all-in and called by Pascal Leyo and Kristy Downs.

Pascal Leyo bet on the {8-Spades} turn and Downs folded her hand. Ferguson opened up {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Leyo showed {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Ferguson managed to realize a full triple up.

Jackson Gets Three Quarters on the River

Level 11 : 250/500, 0 ante

Big-O

With the flop reading {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, three players were still alive in the hand. The two short stacks, Darryll Fish and Andrew Yeh, found themselves all in and were called by Robert Jackson who came into the day with a bigger stack.

Robert Jackson: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Andrew Yeh: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Darryll Fish: {a-}{q-}{j-}{7-}{3-}

Fish flopped the best high hand with two pair but with two cards to come, it was still anyone's pot. The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and the river was the {9-Clubs}. Jackson rivered the nut straight and also held the nut low with ace-deuce. Yeh also had ace-deuce and would get a quarter of the pot back, while Fish was left to walk away empty-handed.
