Spear Finds a Double

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A player in early position moved all in for 25,000 and it folded to Stuart Spear in late position. Spear put his last 23,100 in the pot and the rest of the table folded.

Stuart Spear: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Spear improved to middle set to earn the double-up. Spear is no stranger to success in the WSOP Seniors event. His largest career tournament cash came in the 2012 WSOP $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em where he took home more than $110,000 for his sixth-place finish.

Adnan Khabbaz: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The flop was devastating for Khabbaz as dealer fanned out {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} with the ace in the window. The turn came the {5-Spades} and Khabbaz would need a jack. The river was a {j-Hearts} and Khabbaz made his set and eliminated his opponent.

Sacks Makes the Call

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The flop showed {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and a small blind opponent moved all in. The pot was around 17,500. Mason Sacks thought for a second and then made the call for his remaining 14,200.

His opponent tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for ace-high, saying "good call" as Sacks showed {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn and {q-Diamonds} gave Sacks a flush, taking down the pot.
