Thompson asked the dealer to verify the chipcount and thought it over for nearly a minute. He eventually called, turning over {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Parsons would need to improve holding {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} for top pair.

The turn {3-Diamonds} and river {6-Spades} were no help to Parsons and he is the 11th-place Event #36: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em finisher, taking home $19,968.

Robert Beach raised to 50,000 and Fredericks Parsons called. They went heads up to the {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and Beach checked. Parsons tossed out a bet of 100,000 and Beach called.

Both players checked the {5-Clubs} turn card and the river was the {10-Spades}. Beach led out with a bet of 100,000 and Parson called. Beach turned over his {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for top set and Parsons fired his hand face down into the muck.

In one of the first hands back from break, there was already more than 500,000 in the main pot on a board reading {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Russell Sutton led out with a bet of 150,000 and Robert Beach called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Sutton fired out a bet of 250,000. Beach quickly called, turning over his {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for top pair, but Sutton tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to take the pot.

John Borzio opened to 75,000 from under the gun and Farhintaj Bonyadi called from the big blind. The flop came down {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Bonyadi instantly moved all in. Borzio snap-called and the players turned over their hands.
