Frederick Parsons Eliminated in 11th Place ($19,968)

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Frederick Parsons
Frederick Parsons

Charles Thompson raised to 55,000 and Frederick Parsons called from the small blind. Alan Denkenson called from the big blind and they went three-handed to the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Parsons moved all in for 563,000 and Denkenson folded.

Thompson asked the dealer to verify the chipcount and thought it over for nearly a minute. He eventually called, turning over {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Parsons would need to improve holding {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} for top pair.

The turn {3-Diamonds} and river {6-Spades} were no help to Parsons and he is the 11th-place Event #36: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em finisher, taking home $19,968.
