Humphrey Takes Control on the Turn

Jay Farber opened to 22,000 form under the gun and was called by Eric Baldwin on the button. The flop came down {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Farber then led for 15,000 and Baldwin made the call.

The {7-Clubs} hit the felt on the turn, with Farber leading for 33,000 and Baldwin thought for a moment and then raised to 100,000. Farber took his time but did make the call and the river was the {k-Clubs}.

Farber checked to Baldwin who then moved all in for 242,000. After several moments of thought, Farber made the fold and Baldwin took down the pot.

Massey Finally Gets Song

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Aaron Massey opened on the button with a raise to 23,000 and Ian Steinman called from the small blind. Stephen Song called as well from the big blind so the three took a flop.

The flop was {J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and action checked to Massey who put out a bet of 30,000. Steinman folded quickly while Song opted to check-raise, making it 75,000. Massey called.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Song continued his aggression with a bet of 115,000. Massey called again.

On the {4-Diamonds} river, both players checked down. Song showed down queen-high but Massey had him beat with {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for two pair and he would take down the pot.

"You finally got me," Song said after the hand.

"I finally got you," Massey said. "And I got you at an important time, too."

The board showed {9-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} and Ian Steinman bet 25,000 into a pot around 55,000. Gene Harrill then raised to 100,000 and Steinman quickly put his opponent all in.

Harrill called with his remaining 270,000 and the players revealed their hands. Harrill showed {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a pair of aces with a flush draw and Steinman showed {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped set of nines.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Harrill picked up some more outs, but the {j-Diamonds} on the river was not one of them as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Rudelitz Triples While Goindoo and Lavinson Both Take Hits

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Geoffrey Lavinson opened with a raise to 27,000 from the cutoff before [Removed:4] shoved all in from the small blind for 212,000. Goindoo called the shove then Lavinson thought for about 15 seconds before moving all in over the top. Goindoo called quickly.

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} and that gave Rudelitz two pair and earned him a triple-up for the main pot. Goindoo caught an ace to stay alive and earn a side pot from Lavinson. Meanwhile Lavinson who started with the best hand preflop was forced to pay off two opponents, and he's now dropped to just under 400,000 chips.

Finstein Picks Off Wheeler

Action was on the turn with over 100,000 in the pot and the board showing {4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Jason Wheeler checked over to Michael Finstein on the button who checked behind.

On the {8-Diamonds} river, Wheeler led out, putting out 90,000 and Finstein thought briefly before putting in the call. Wheeler turned up his {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pair, eights and fours, but Finstein had him beat with a better two pair {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} for kings and eights.
