Velador Falls to the Bottom

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Luis Velador opened to 175,000 from the hijack and James Calderaro called from the cutoff along with Jason Koon on the button. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {9-Clubs} on the turn.

Velador checked again and Calderaro tossed in a bet of 275,000. Koon folded but Velador called to see the {3-Clubs} pair the board on the river. Velador checked for the third time and Calderaro slid in a bet of 700,000. Velador went deep into the tank for nearly five minutes before finally slamming a stack of chips into the middle. Calderaro tabled {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a full house and Velador's cards hit the muck.
