Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jonathan Cohen
Jonathan Cohen

Jonathan Cohen moved all-in for 127,000 and Timur Margolin called. Margolin turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} but would need to improve against the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} of Cohen.

The dealer fanned the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and Margolin picked up an open ended straight draw. The dealer burned and turned theh {a-Clubs} and Margolin paired his ace to take the lead. The river {3-Clubs} sealed the deal for Margolin and Cohen was eliminated in 27th place earning $15,051.

Linde Doubles Through Edwards

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

In one of the last hands of the previous blind level Dylan Linde raised to 27,000 from early position. Chris Edwards was next to act and he re-raised to 105,000. It folded back to Linde who moved all-in for 470,000 sending Edwards deep into the tank.

He eventually called turning over {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} but Linde was ahead holding {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. The board ran out clean for Linde {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and his pocket kings held up to earn him the double-up.

Edwards Takes from Bojang

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ismael Bojang
Ismael Bojang

Chris Edwards started things off with a cutoff open and it folded to Ismael Bojang in the big blind, who three-bet it and Edwards peeled in position.

The flop was {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Bojang continued for 52,000 and Edwards reraised him to 200,000. It would cost Bojang half of his remaining chips to call but he elected to fold.

Rann Doubles Through Lin

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

James Rann and Chen An Lin were heads-up on the river on a {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board. There was already close to 250,000 in the main pot and Rann moved all-in for 156,000. Lin called and Rann turned over {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for two pair aces and fours.

Lin flashed his {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} before tossing them into the muck and Rann earned the double-up.

Triple Up For Friedman

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ira Friedman shipped his last 32,000 in on the cutoff. Andreas Klatt was playing out of the small blind and upped it to 57000. Jeff Hakim was sat in the big blind and he asked Klatt how much he had behind before shoving all-in. Klatt folded and Friedman and Hakim tabled their cards.

Ira Friedman: {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Jeff Hakim: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop made a set for Friedman and only running cards would do for Hakim. The {k-Hearts} saw the end to that with a full house for Friedman. The {5-Hearts} river completed the board but made no difference and the small pot goes to Friedman.

Brink Doubles Through Bansal

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Paawan Bansal and Frederik Brink were heads-up on the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. Bansal checked to Brink who bet 33,000 into a main pot of nearly 100,000 and Bansal check-raised to 132,000. Brink called and the dealer burned and turned and turned the {7-Spades}.

Bansal moved all-in for 363,000 and Brink snapped called for his last 328,000 Bansal showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a flopped flush but Brink had flopped the nut flush holding {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. The meaningless {6-Hearts} completed the board and Brink doubled up crippling Bansal in the process.

Ryan Laplante
Ryan Laplante

James Rann opened the action to 25,000 in middle-late position and Ryan Laplante shoved 165,000 all-in. It was a very quick call from Rann and they turned their cards over.

Ryan Laplante: {a-}{10-}
James Rann: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop gave Laplante the better pair. The {3-Diamonds} turn paired the board and the {2-Spades} river completed the board, leaving Laplante with the winning hand.
