Huang Catches Naumann's Bluff

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

David Peters raised to 27,000 from early position and Zizheng Huang called in middle position. Jacob Naumann defended his big blind and they went three handed to the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop.

The action checked around and the dealer burned and turned the {4-Spades}. Naumann led out with a bet of 34,000 and Peters called. Huang called behind and the river was the {9-Diamonds}.

Naumann led out with a bet of 55,000 and Peters folded. Huang called and Naumann showed {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a missed draw and Huang tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to take the pot.

Margolin Barrels Into Edwards

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded round to Timur Margolin who opened the button to 25,000. Only Chris Edwards in the big blind fancied getting involved and they went heads up to the flop of {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Edwards checked the flop and Margolin continued for 25,000. Edwards called and the dealer put a {6-Diamonds} out on the turn. When Edwards checked again, Margolin barreled for a much larger 100,000. Edwards deemed it too much and passed.

Gagnon Coolers Cohen to Double Up

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Pavlo Veksler raised to 23,000 from under the gun and it folded to Jonathan Cohen in the hi-jack. Cohen re-raised to 100,000 and with the action on Samuel Gagnon on the button he moved all-in for 469,000.

Veksler got out of the way and Cohen called turning over his {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. It was a cooler for Cohen as Gagnon tabled his {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} and the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} runout sealed the deal for Gagnon who earned the double up.

Bonnett Doubles Through Fernandez

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Following a 24,000 raise and a call, Javier Fernandez three-bet to 117,000. This got one person out of the way but not Jeffrey Bonnett who declared he was all in. Fernandez quickly called and with a pair versus suited over cards, they were off to the races.

Javier Fernandez: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Jeffrey Bonnett: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board couldn't connect for Fernandez and he counted out 530,000 to pass to Bonnett.

David Peters (480,000), Chris Ferguson (402,000), Ryan Laplante (292,000), Andreas Klatt (230,000) are some of the other big names still in contention. They, and all the players, will be vying for the title, the first place prize of $507,274 and a coveted WSOP bracelet.

Ten 60-minute levels will be played with 15-minute breaks coming after every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break at the end of the day's sixth level.
