Leah a Millionaire Again; Makarov Takes from Shack-Harris

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Mike Leah raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and Anton Morgenstern called in the small blind. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, Morgenstern checked and folded to a bet.

Over on the other table, Brandon Shack-Harris limped the small blind and Anson Tsang raised to 150,000, Shack-Harris called. The {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop brought no action and a bet of Shack-Harris on the {3-Clubs} turn for 85,000 forced a fold from Tsang.

Alexey Makarov limped in first to act and Shack-Harris did so from the button, Loren Klein in the big blind checked. No betting action took place on the {J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and Klein checked the {A-Diamonds} turn, Makarov bet 150,000 and just Shack-Harris came along. Makarov then bet the {6-Spades} river for 375,000 and that sent Shack-Harris into the think tank.

"That is such a weird bet," he said... after almost two minutes Shack-Harris called and Makarov rolled over the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} for a set, which won the pot.
