Evelyn Pulls Good on Seventh to Double

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Scott Evelyn moved all in on third street and he was called by Jeanne David.

Jeanne David: {3-}{8-}/{4-}
Scott Evelyn: {10-}{3-}/{5-}

David was ahead to start with a draw to an eight low while Evelyn had a draw to a ten low. Here's how their board rounded out:

Jeanne David: {3-}{8-}/{4-}{7-}{8-}{9-}/{6-}
Scott Evelyn: {10-}{3-}/{5-}{4-}{J-}{2-}/{8-}

David made an eight-seven low by seventh street and that meant that Evelyn had a full sweat. He peeled his last card and revealed an {8-} and that allowed him to double up with an eight-five low.

Cernuto Eliminated

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
John Cernuto
John Cernuto

We got to the table with John Cernuto all in against Ylon Schwartz. By seventh street Schwartz had already made a {9-}{6-}{5-}{2-}{a-} and had Cernuto drawing dead, as he could only hope to make a nine-seven. To add insult to injury, Cernuto wound up making a {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{a-} but was eliminated.

Talbot Takes Back From Schwartz

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante

Parker Talbot: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{5-}{3-}{8-}/{x-}
Ylon Schwartz: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{8-}{2-}{J-}/{x-}

There was a bit more than 20,000 already in the pot when picking up the action on sixth street. There, Talbot put out a bet and Schwartz called.

On seventh, Talbot decided to slow down and check. Schwartz looked at his seventh street card then checked back, showing his {7-}{6-} for an eight-seven low. Talbot turned up his {8-}{6-}{J-} for an eight-six low and that would earn him the pot.

Ylon Schwartz
Ylon Schwartz

Ylon Schwartz was the short stack at the table and he completed. Parker Talbot raised and Schwartz called.

Schwartz bet on fourth street and Talbot called. Schwartz bet again on fifth street.

"That's obnoxious," said Talbot staring at his opponent's arguably cleaner board. "And you have what behind?"

"3,600," replied Schwartz. Eventually Talbot folded.

Ylon Schwartz: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{3-}{4-}

Noori Sent to the Rail by Taylor

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante
Michael Noori
Michael Noori

It's unclear which cards were the up and down cards but upon our arrival at the table, Michael Noori was all in and sweating his final card. Thomas Taylor had him at risk.

Thomas Taylor: {J-}{8-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}
Michael Noori: {A-}{2-}{4-}{8-}{Q-}{Q-} — Sweating last card

Taylor had made an eight-seven low by seventh street while Noori had a queen low with a draw to a better low still.

"It's a heart," Noori said. "It's either a four or a five.... NO!"

Noori turned up the {4-Hearts} on the river and that paired him. Had he drawn the five he would've survived with a double up, but instead, he was sent to the rail.

David Scoops Urbanovich in a Massive Pot

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante

Jeanne David: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{3-}{K-}{J-}/{x-}
Dzmitry Urbanovich: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{7-}{2-}{3-}/{x-}

Jeanne David completed and she was raised by Dzmitry Urbanovich who made it two bets. Everyone else folded and David called.

David bet on fourth street and Urbanovich called. On fifth, when David picked up a king, Urbanovich bet and David called.

Urbanovich paired on sixth, but David checked. Urbanovich put out a bet and David called.

On seventh, David checked again. Urbanovich bet and David check-raised to two bets. Urbanovich thought for quite some time before calling. David showed her {A-}{5-}{6-} for a six low and Urbanovich quickly mucked his hand. That earned the huge pot for David who moved to over 170,000 chips.
