Lavis Keeps Climbing

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A first player opened to 3,700, Ivan Deyra made the call from one seat over, as well as Lorenzo Lavis and a fourth player.

The dealer brought a flop {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and after the initial raiser and Deyra checked, Lavis bet 7,500. Only the initial raiser called and both went heads-up on the {k-Hearts} turn. The two players checked.

The river fell {3-Hearts} and Lavis announced all-in after his opponent checked, putting his tournament at risk. The latter quickly folded his hand and Lavis, who started the day with 33,800, has now a stack worth 104,000.
