Preflop Betting Wars

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jamie O'Connor kicked off the betting with a middle position open. He was three-bet to 4,000 on his direct left and everyone else got out of the way. Back on O'Connor and he raised it up again, making it 11,000. He was called, taking them to a flop.

It was {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} and there was no betting. On to the turn and it was the {2-Clubs}. Once again there was no betting. The {j-Hearts} river saw no change to the status quo and the O'Connor showed {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}, which was enough to win the pot and his opponent sent his cards into the muck.

Lee Cracks Bullets

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

There was about 6,000 dead money in the middle when Victor Lee decided to shove in his 16,400 stack. He got one caller and the players then flipped over their hands with Lee at risk.

Victor Lee: {q-Spades}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The flop came down {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Lee was now drawing very slim to win this hand. The turn gave him some hope when the {j-Clubs} hit the felt, giving him a straight draw. The river was just the card as the {10-Clubs} hit the board, completing Lee's straight and giving him a double up late in the day.

Deyra Bets on All Three Streets

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Ivan Deyra opened to 1,800 from under the gun and only one player in the small blind called.

The board came {3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and it went check-call on every street. First 3,500, then 9,500, then 10,800. The players went to showdown and Deyra turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for trips with top kicker and his opponent mucked his hand.
