Three-Quarters for Matusow

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Mike Matusow was seen betting 66,000 from the cutoff and Dylan Linde called on the button. Eli Elezra thought in the big blind but then escaped, leaving the following action heads-up.

Matusow moved all in on the {K-Spades} turn and Linde called.

Matusow: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Linde: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Matusow took the high while they chopped the other half as they both turned up ace-deuce for the nut low.

Conrad Doubles Through Negreanu

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

The {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was already out and there were 48,000 chips in the pot when we got to the table. Shiva Dudani bet 30,000 from the big blind, Christopher Conrad called from the hijack, and Daniel Negreanu raised the pot from the button to 168,000. Dudani folded after brief consideration, and after a bit of time in the tank, Conrad called to put himself at risk.

Daniel Negreanu: {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Christopher Conrad: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Both players were drawing to the nut low but Negreanu also had the nut-flush draw and Conrad had a pair of sixes. The {9-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river gave Conrad nines full so he took the pot to double up.

Jamison Finds a Double

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

We picked up the action when it was all over but it became apparent that Gregory Jamison got in his 104,000 against Jason Stockfish who was in the big blind.

The board read {7-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Jamison's {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} was a two-way winner versus {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} as Jamison finished with the nut low and scooped the high half with ace-king.

Depa Doesn't Need Aces to Double

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Mihails Morozovs opened the action in the small blind and he ended up all in against Jonathan Depa who was racing for his last 76,500.

Morozovs: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Depa: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{3-Spades}

Morozovs was able to connect to the {2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop but he failed to improve further while Depa liked the {3-Diamonds} and {3-Hearts} runout, finishing with trip treys.

Mankin Eliminates Williams

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Jeff Williams got his stack in from the cutoff before the flop against Erle Mankin, who was in the big blind and had the larger of the two stacks by a wide margin.

Jeff Williams: {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Erle Mankin: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Mankin had the better pair and better low draw, so Williams needed help from the deck to survive. The {J-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop put Mankin further ahead with trip deuces, the {10-Clubs} turn and {K-Hearts} river changed nothing, and Mankin took the pot to send Williams to the cage.

Wheel Card Scares Elezra

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Eli Elezra completed in the small blind and Dustin Pattinson raised to 18,000. Elezra called and they continued to the flop of {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Elezra didn't hesitate and announced a pot-sized bet of 36,000. Pattinson called.

The {4-Clubs} turn filled the ace-deuce and Elezra slowed down, checking. This time, it was Pattinson who declared "pot" and the dealer informed him that his bet was worth 108,000. Elezra immediately folded.

Albrinck Adds to His Big Stack

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Brad Albrinck started the day as a chip leader and he's continued crushing today. Albrinck is now in the neighborhood of 350,000 after eliminating another opponent.

They were all in on the {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop with Albrinck tabling {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. His hand remained the scooper on the {8-Spades} turn and {J-Spades} river as his opponent's hand looked like {4-}{3-}{3-}{2-}.

Yockey Gives Up on the River

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Nick Guagenti made it 15,000 in the cutoff and Bryce Yockey flatted out of the small blind.

The {2-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop was checked by both players and Yockey tapped the {Q-Hearts} turn as well. Guagenti opted to fire a delayed c-bet and Yockey called the offered 15,000.

The river brought another eight on the board, the {8-Clubs}, and Yockey checked one more time. Guagenti bet 33,000 and Yockey let it go.
