Hands #42-45: Rocha Doubles; English Only at the Table

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #42: Alex Rocha shoved all in for 275,000 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Kazuki Ikeuchi on the button. The blinds folded to let them fight it out among themselves.

Alex Rocha: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Kazuki Ikeuchi: {K-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to give Rocha a flush on the river for the double-up.

Hand #43: Ikeuchi raised to 90,000 from the cutoff and Bon Koo shoved on the button. Ikeuchi asked for a count but the dealer advised that the action was on Alex Rocha in the big blind. Apparently, Koo said something to Ikeuchi as the rest of the table responded that Koo wasn't allowed to speak another language than English at the table. Koo responded that he didn't say anything.

Cord Garcia and Rocha commented that he did and asked Ikeuchi what was said. The floor was called over and the situation was explained. The floor ruled that the hand needed to be finished first before he could make any ruling. Rocha folded after considering it for a while and so did Ikeuchi.

The floor conferred with a supervisor and when the hand finished, they ruled that Koo would receive a two-round penalty. Any further infraction of anyone on the table would incur a stricter penalty.

Hand #44: Garcia raised to 105,000 from the button and Giuseppe Pantaleo called in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Pantaleo check-folded to the 100,000 continuation-bet of Garcia.

Hand #45: Ikeuchi raised to 90,000 from the hijack and Loni Harwood called in the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Harwood check-called the 80,000 bet of Ikeuchi. The turn brought them the {6-Diamonds}, and Harwood check-folded to the 200,000 continuation-bet of Ikeuchi.

Right after this hand, the floor supervisor came over to give the whole table a warning. The next time anyone spoke any non-English at the table, a 10-round penalty would be given to the player doing so.
