Puchkov Calls and is Wrong

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades} board, Konstantin Puchkov checked out of the small blind and his opponent checked back. The river was the {8-Hearts}. Puchkov check-called a bet of 1,050 relatively quickly.

"Two pair," said his opponent, showing {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and that was good enough to take down the pot.

Japanese player Yosuke Sekiya is also now in the field.

GIANT Tournament, GIANT Coolers

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

David Krauser opened from the cutoff and the player on the button called. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Krauser continued. His opponent raised and Krauser flat-called.

The turn was theh {5-Spades}. Krauser bet 11,000 and his opponent moved all in for around starting stack. Krauser called.

David Krauser: {j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {6-Spades}{7-Spades}

Both players had flopped a straight, but Krauser had flopped the nuts and had his opponent drawing dead. The river was the {7-Clubs} and the dealer counted out the stack of Krauser's opponent to verify that he was all in. He was, and Krauser sent one of the first players in the GIANT to the rail.

ODB Looks for a Rebuy

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a {10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} board, one player checked to David "ODB" Baker, who bet 2,500 from a stack of around 12,000. His opponent called. Baker showed {8-Spades}{6-Spades} and his opponent took down the pot with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Mike "East Coast Rossy" Ross was on the rail and was on hand to provide some astute analysis. "Tell them Rossy said ODB played it like shit."

"I'm trying to bust so I can rebuy," said Baker, who slipped to less than half starting stack.
