Sabat Cracks Kings

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

There was about 7,000 in the pot when Eddy Sabat bet enough to put his opponent at risk on the river of a {9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} board. The bet was for 5,300 and his opponent quickly called all in.

Sabat tabled the {j-Spades}{10-Spades} making a backdoor flush and his opponent flashed the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} before leaving the table.

Engel Fades a Flush Draw to Bust One

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

With about 5,000 settled in the middle of the table, Ari Engel called a pot-size all-in shove from his heads-up opponent on the flop of a {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} board.

Engel tabled the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and was up against his opponent's {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. No club came with a {3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} runout and Engel collected the pot.

MacPhee Chops with Big Slick

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

The player on the button opened to 1,100 and would quickly fold after Kevin MacPhee three-bet to 4,000 in the small blind and then the player in the big blind four-bet shoved having both players covered. MacPhee, however, made the call.

Kevin MacPhee: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Both players picked up a backdoor draw with a {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop but the {4-Spades} on the turn squashed that and the {q-Hearts} on the river split the button's initial raise.
