Yuval Bronshtein Gets Half the Pot with One Big Pair

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Yu: {X-}{X-} / {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} / {X-}
Yuval Bronshtein: {X-}{X-} / {6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} / {X-}
Paul Tedeschi: {X-}{X-} / {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} - fold
David Benyamine: {X-}{X-} / {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} - fold

Ben Yu had the bring-in with a deuce and Yuval Bronshtein completed with a six. Paul Tedeschi then raised to 8,000 with a ten and David Benyamine flatted with a deuce. Yu called, as did Bronshtein, and then action checked to the former on fourth street.

Yu bet 4,000, Bronshtein check-raised to 8,000, and both Tedeschi and Benyamine folded. Yu called and then bet 8,000 when Bronshtein checked fifth. The latter called and then check-called bets on both sixth and seventh.

Yu tabled {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of fours and a low, and Bronshtein rolled over [Ac5c10] for a pair of aces and half the pot.

Card Off the Table on Seventh

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Tom Koral: {X-}{X-} / {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} / {2-Clubs}
Jan Suchanek: {X-}{X-} / {k-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {6-Diamonds}
Daham Wang: {X-}{X-} / {3-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} - fold
Daniel Negreanu: {X-}{X-} / {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} - fold

Daham Wang brought it in with a three up and Daniel Negreanu completed with a king. Tom Koral flatted and Jan Suchanek did the same. Wang came along and then all four players checked fourth street.

Koral led out for 8,000 on fifth after pairing deuces and only Suchanek called. The latter then called a bet on sixth before the dealer went to put out seventh. As it happened, Koral's down card caught a little air and flew off the table. Despite landing face down, the rule is the card must be dealt face up and so would Suchanek's.

Koral's card was the {2-Clubs} and Suchanek received the {6-Diamonds}. Before Koral acted, Suchanek said, "I fold." Indeed, he sent his hand to the muck.

Andrew Rennhack Makes Wheel to Scoop and Double

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Rennhack: {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Spades} / {A-Spades}
Joel Tushnet: {4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {10-Hearts}

It appeared Andrew Rennhack got the last of his chips in on fourth street and was at risk against Joel Tushnet.

Tushnet took the lead on fifth and held it through sixth. Rennhack had a ton of outs and got the perfect one when the {A-Spades} river gave him a wheel to scoop.

David Prociak

David Prociak was all in on third street against Daham Wang and Daniel Negreanu.

Daham Wang: {X-}{X-} / {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {X-} - fold
David Prociak: {X-}{X-} / {7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{K-Spades} / {X-}
Daniel Negreanu: {X-}{X-} / {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}

Negreanu bet with the best board the entire way and Wang folded on seventh street.

Stuart Rutter: {X-}{X-} / {3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {X-}

Stuart Rutter had the bring-in and Dan Matsuzuki completed with an ace up. Action folded back to Rutter and he raised to 10,000, which Matsuzuki called.

Matsuzuki check-called a bet of 5,000 on fourth street and then led out for 10,000 on fifth. Rutter called and then both players checked sixth and seventh.
