Pannucci Triples Up

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
John Pannucci
John Pannucci

A player in early position moved all in for 62,500 and David Huang re-shoved all in for about 175,000. It folded to John Pannucci in the big blind and he put his last 57,500 into the pot.

John Pannucci: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
David Huang: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Early Position: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The dealer fanned the {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop and there was a king in the window for Pannucci to take control of the hand. The turn {9-Hearts} and river {9-Clubs} improved Pannucci to a full house and he tripled his stack.

Steen Doubles Through Searles

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Searles opened the action to 15,000 in late position and Yngve Steen three-bet all in for 50,000. It was a call from Searles and they were heads up.

Yngve Steen: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Christopher Searles: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Steen had got it in for his tournament life with the best of it and the {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts} board did nothing to change that. He doubled, whilst Searles had to take the hit.

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Halseth raised to 15,000 from early position and Austin Hughes moved all in for 115,000. With the action on Timothy Miles in the big blind, he re-shoved all in for 185,000. Halseth got out of the way and the cards were shown.

Austin Hughes: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Timothy Miles: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out clean for Hughes {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} and his pocket kings held up to earn him the double-up.

Zhang Takes Out Pacleb

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

It was a battle of the big pairs and Robert Pacleb opened in early position to 17,000, with Heng Zhang just smooth-calling in middle position.

The flop ran out {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and both players checked. The {3-Clubs} turn saw another check from Pacleb and a bet of 20,000 from Zhang. Pacleb upped it to 62,000, leaving 57,000 behind, and Zhang peeled.

The river was a {5-Diamonds} and Pacleb shoved the last of it, only for Zhang to snap-call.

Hallaert Hits the Rail

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Kenny Hallaert raised to 13,000 from middle position and it folded to Georgios Angelo Tavoularis in the big blind. Tavoularis reraised to 46,000 and Hallaert moved all in for 198,000. Tavoularis quickly called, turning over {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}, and Hallaert showed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Tavoularis improved to top set. The two players had nearly identical stacks to start the hand but they were counted down. Tavoularis had Hallaert slighty covered and the latter made his way to the payout line after wishing his tablemates good luck.

Stephen Bierman Rises to the Top Spot

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded round to Brock Parker on the button and he raised his last 76,000. He was called by Stephen Bierman in the small blind and they tabled their cards.

Stephen Bierman: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Brock Parker: {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Parker was looking for a jack as they headed into the {6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop. The {9-Hearts} turn didn't help him either and the {8-Spades} river sealed it up for Bierman, sending him into the chip lead.
