Earlier in the day, Trey Brabham celebrated loudly after doubling through Nathan Nguyen. This roused the ire of tablemate Stephen Bierman and a short while ago the two got into a slinging match across the table.
The floor intervened and, after waiting for the hand involving Brabham and another player to finish, he sent both Bierman and Brabham on one round penalties.
Stephen Bierman and Longsheng Tan have had history over the course of the tournament and in this hand Tan check-called a bet of 100,000 on the turn. Tan then bet 175,000 on the river and Bierman called.
Tan showed for a rivered flush and took down the pot.
Longsheng Tan opened the action to 50,000 on the button and Jason Paradis decided the time was right to get the remainder of his chips in and Tan called the difference. When they turned over their cards, it was a flip as they headed into the flop.
Jason Paradis:
Longsheng Tan:
Just like the hand a few minutes ago on the other table, the board favored the pair and it was a much-needed double for Paradis.
Jayaram Kovoorchathoth just won a decent pot against John Pannucci and it gives him around 20 percent of the chips in play.
Kovoorchathoth opened to 35,000 and Pannucci three-bet to 85,000. After Kovoorchathoth called, the dealer laid out on the flop. Both players checked and they went to the turn.
It came and Kovoorchathoth checked to Pannucci, who set the price at 85,000. Kovoorchathoth called and the final card out was the , bringing a one-card flush possibility. Kovoorchathoth checked once more and Pannucci bet 110,000. After a brief spell in the tank, Kovoorchathoth made the call.
Pannucci turned over but his pair wasn't good enough to beat a pair of kings with and Kovoorchathoth has moved a long way ahead of the pack.
Chen Yu Hung had been one of the short stacks since the two-table redraw, and he moved all in for just 78,000 from the button. Longsheng Tan was in the big blind and called.
Chen Yu Hung flung down on the table, with Tan showing .
The board ran out and Hung was eliminated in 13th place.
Kfir Nahum raised to 35,000 and Austin Hughes called. Trey Brabham three-bet all in for 432,000 from the big blind. Nahum quickly called and Hughes mucked .
Kfir Nahum:
Trey Brabham:
The board came and Brabham doubled up.
On the very next hand, it folded to Brabham in the small blind who moved all in.
"I haven't even looked," said Brabham to Nahum in the big blind who called.
Trey Brabham:
Kfir Nahum:
The board ran out with Brabham's nine playing and sending Nahum to the rail.
