Yesterday 194 runners that made it through to Day 2. Today, a whole new set of challengers will take their turn to play this iconic event. John Utley finished the day leader of the pack, bagging 159,800 and setting the bar at the same time. Will any of the players surpass that in today's flight? Time will tell.

There were also some big names that made it through to Day 2 and all survivors from today will come back to join the likes of Phil Laak (118,300), Calvin Anderson (117,300), Robert Damelian (112,400) and 888 Ambassador Dominik Nitsche (29,400).

Day 1b will start at 11a.m. local time at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, in Pavillion White. On the schedule for today are ten 60-minute levels. Late Registration will be open for the first 8 levels, until 9:15 p.m. There will be 20-minute breaks every 2 levels and a 75-minute dinner break after level 6 (around 5:40 p.m.)

As with all flights, players receive a 5,000 starting stack and for a $111 donation, they will receive 5,000 additional starting chips. The donation goes to charity OneDrop and must be added at the time of registration. For more details on the work of OneDrop, click here.
