Phil Hellmuth

Markus Gonsalves raised to 13,000 from early position and was called by Phil Hellmuth in the hijack and the player in the big blind.

The turn brought them the {7-Clubs}, Gonsalves fired another 35,000 bet over the line and Hellmuth called again.

The river completed the board with the {k-Spades}, Gonsalves barreled another 50,000 bet into the pot. Hellmuth though about it for a while and then called. Gonsalves showed {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for the flopped set of treys to scoop the pot as Hellmuth mucked his hand.

A Shove Fest

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Michael Sklenicka has just been eliminated and was kind enough to relay what had happened.

John Hennigan shoved all in from the cutoff for 27,000 with {10-}{7-} suited and Scotty Nguyen folded in the small blind with {a-}{j-} offsuit. Sklenicka called in the big blind with {k-}{9-} suited. The flop came king high but Hennigan rivered the flush.

The hand after that, Sklenicka shoved with {a-}{7-} offsuit and was called by the player in the big blind with {q-}{j-} and the queen came on the river to take Sklenicka out of the running for today.

A few hands later, the player in the late position raised to 6,000 and [Removed:532] shoved for 26,000 from the small blind. The player in the big blind called and the initial raiser folded.

[Removed:532]: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Big Blind: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} to provide [Removed:550] with the double-up.
