A Couple in, a Bunch Out

Leng Lays it Down

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

PLO

With about 4,600 in the middle and a completed board reading {4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, Ryan Leng fired 2,100 out of the big blind only to see his heads-up opponent raise to 9,400 on the button.

Leng took a few moments in the tank uncomfortable with the situation. Leng would eventually fold and showed the table the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} as he mucked.

The rest of the table begged the player on the button to show his hand and he obliged, sort of, by showing the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} before his cards also went in the muck.

Soverel Busts in Brutal Fashion

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

PLO

Sam Soverel got most of his short-ish stack in preflop against a heads-up opponent and the rest of it went in on a {3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop.

Soverel had flopped a full house with the {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-}, cracking his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for Soverel, the {a-Spades} peeled off on the turn, giving his opponent a better full house, and the {q-Spades} on the river sent Soverel to the rail.
