Aces Versus Kings Reversed for Aerts

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Not long ago Matthijs Aerts doubled up when his pocket aces held against pocket kings. Well, the same situation just occurred but this time it was Aerts who held the kings.

All the chips were in the middle with the completed board down. Aerts' kings were in front of him, and he had lost to the pocket aces of Martin Zamani. The pot was worth 1.9m and Zamani swept it in to take the overall chip lead.

Jordan Cristos Eliminated in 18th Place ($32,700)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jordan Cristos lost a big pot to Sam Greenwood with {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} against {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. He was left with just 2,000 and he lost that in the next hand to Shaun Deeb.

He did have outs with his {8-Spades}{7-Hearts} on the {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Spades} board, but he didn't manage to win as the river bricked out and Deeb took the pot with {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.
