A very short-stacked Joao Viera was all in for his last few crumbs against Smith and cards were already tabled on third street. Vieira started out with a pair of sevens but Smith caught a pair of eights on sixth street to take the lead.

Vieira peeked at his river card before quickly scooping his cards up and flinging them in the muck, unable to beat Smith's board.

Mike Sexton opened under the gun, Tim Marsters three-bet from the hijack, Eli Elezra called from the big blind, Sexton moved last 3,700 and was all in for less.

The flop fell , both players checked and the hit on the turn. Both players checked again and the river came the . Elezra threw out a bet and Marsters chucked his cards into the muck.

Elezra turned over for the nut flush and Sexton threw his cards into the muck, being eliminated from the tournament.

Michael McKenna and Greg "FBT" Mueller were involved in Omaha 8 action with the board reading . McKenna had fired the turn and put in another bet of 3,000 on the river.

"Aces and a low," Mueller referred to the hand he held, with the low draw not coming in on the river. McKenna tabled for a set of fours and Mueller mucked, leaving himself with around 5,000 behind. Those got lost in the hand after and he headed for the rail.
