Negreanu Stays Relentless

Level 11 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised to 225,000 from middle position and was called by Cary Katz in the small blind and Daniel Negreanu in the big blind. The flop fell {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Katz checked to Negreanu who threw in a bet of 200,000. Kempe called while Katz got out of the way.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and Negreanu led out for 300,000. Kempe used up his allotted time and still called. The {j-Spades} on the river double-paired the board but Negreanu still fired out a bet of 1,500,000. Kempe finally released his cards to the muck as he took a small hit to his stack early on.
