Ivey Takes Over the Lead

Level 11 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Justin Bonomo made it 220,000 to go from the button and Mikita Badziakouski defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Badziakouski checked over to Bonomo, who continued for 150,000. That ended the hand right there as Bonomo scooped his first pot of the day.

Phil Ivey made it 225,000 to go on the button the next hand and Byron Kaverman came along out of the big blind, the flop fell {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Kaverman checked and called a bet of 225,000 by Ivey. Both checked the {8-Hearts} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} followed on the river. Both checked and Kaverman won the pot with the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines.

Petrangelo raised to 220.,000 and Ivey three-bet to 720,000 in the cutoff. Petrangelo tossed in calling chips and the flop came {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Petrangelo's check was followed by a bet of 1 million by Ivey and that won the pot right there.
