Hands #1-5: Petrangelo and Ivey Pick Up a Pair of Pots

Level 16 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Hand #1: Nick Petrangelo raised to 650,000 in the hijack and Justin Bonomo called out of the single big blind. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {4-Hearts} turn, the action went check, check once more and the {5-Hearts} appeared on the river.

Neither player bet and Bonomo showed the {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for king-high, Petrangelo claimed the pot with the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Hand #2: Petrangelo opened to 700,000 from the hijack and Dan Smith called from the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Smith checked to Petrangelo who bet 550,000. Smith folded and Petrangelo was awarded the pot.

Hand #3: The action folded around to Smith who limped in from the small blind and Phil Ivey checked his option. The flop fell {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and both players checked to the {7-Spades} on the turn. Two more checks and the {3-Clubs} completed the board. Smith led out for 550,000 and Ivey instantly called. Smith turned over six-high while Ivey tabled {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for two pair.

Hand #4: Ivey raised it up to 750,000 in the small blind and Rick Salomon called in the big blind. On the flop of {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Ivey led out for 500,000 and Salomon instantly folded.

Hand #5: Petrangelo opened to 700,000 from under the gun but couldn't pick up any action.
