Hands #114-115: Bonomo Doubles Through Holz

Level 21 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Hand #114: Justin Bonomo limped in on the button and Fedor Holz checked the big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Holz checked to Bonomo who bet 1 million. Holz made the call and the {3-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Holz checked again and Bonomo fired another 1.5 million. Holz stuck around to see the {q-Hearts} on the river and then led out for 4.5 million. Bonomo quickly called and Holz turned over {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a straight to take the pot.

Hand #115: Holz made it 2.8 million on the button and Bonomo jammed all in for 26.2 million. Holz asked for a count and then made the call, putting Bonomo at risk.

Fedor Holz: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}

It was a coin flip for all of the glory and the flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Holz was still in the lead with his pair of fours but the {a-Hearts} on the turn gave Bonomo a pair of aces. The {k-Diamonds} on the river secured Bonomo a full double up to put himself back in the match.
