Ramos Misreads Hand; Scoops Yakovenko

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Nikolai Yakovenko raised from early position and Felipe Ramos called out of the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Ramos checked and Yakovenko bet. Ramos raised and picked up a call. Ramos then bet the {3-Diamonds} turn and was called before the duo checked the {7-Diamonds} on the river.

Ramos announced two pair and rolled over {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, which left Yakovenko somewhat confused as he checked his cards, revealing the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Ramos only then realized that he had misread his hand and had just one pair of fours as well as the nut low. That still ended up scooping the pot for the Brazilian, though.
