Nut-Nut Sends Gronning into the Danger Zone

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Robert Mizrachi opened and was called by Lars Gronning and Jonathan Depa in the blinds.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and action checked to Mizrachi on the flop and he bet. Gronning raised which earned a fold from Depa. Mizrachi just called.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Gronning led out with a bet. Mizrachi raised and Gronning thought for a bit before calling.

On the {5-Clubs} river, Gronning just check-called a bet from Mizrachi.

"Nut-nut," Mizrachi said, showing {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs} for quads and the nut low. Gronning could only produce {A-}{3-}{K-}{K-} for the nut low and a pair of kings as well, so he collected only one quarter of the pot.
