Big Double for Carragher

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

A big pot was brewing over on table 452 and Kory Kilpatrick provided the details until the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} turn. According to Kilpatrick, a raise by Timothy Lau was called by Charles Carragher in the cutoff and Kyle Montgomery in the big blind and the flop brought a check by Montgomery, a bet of 4,500 by Lau and a call from Carragher. Montgomery check-raised to 20,000 and both opponents called.

On the turn, Montgomery bet 20,000 and picked up two calls once more before the {K-Hearts} river was checked to Carragher. He moved all in for 66,300 and Montgomery quickly folded. Lau needed some time to think it through and Christopher Kruk called the clock on him. Lau was given 25 seconds and announced the call with one second to spare. Carragher rolled over {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a full house and Lau wanted to muck his cards, as per all in showdown rule his {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} were exposed.

In the next hand, Kruk dropped some chips to Carragher when calling a 6,600-bet on the river of a paired ace-high board. Carragher showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for aces and nines, and that won the pot.
