Greenbaum Doubles with Quads Against Kaplan

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jaime Kaplan opened to 25,000 in the hijack and Jonathan Greenbaum called in the big blind.

The flop landed {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Greenbaum checked to Kaplan who continued for 25,000. Greenbaum check-raised to 61,000 and Kaplan slid out an even 1,000,000.

"Is that a million?" asked Greenbaum.

The dealer confirmed the bet, and Greenbaum announced a call for his 538,000 total.

Greenbaum: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Kaplan: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}

Greenbaum was at risk but in the lead and would need to fade spades. The turn of the {10-Diamonds} changed nothing, and when the river was the {6-Clubs}, Greenbaum improved to quads and doubled to over 1.1 million in chips.
