Vecino's Set Takes Ivey Down a Notch

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Juan Vecino opened to 23,000 on the button and Phil Ivey defended his big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Ivey checked to Vecino who also checked. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Ivey led out for 40,000 which Vecino called.

The river brought the {10-Clubs} and Ivey fired another 100,000. Vecino raised to 265,000 and Ivey went into the tank. After a few minutes, the clock was finally called and Ivey was given 30 seconds to make a decision. As his time was running out, Ivey made the call and Vecino turned over {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a set of threes and scooped the pot.
