Rheem Pays Off Hecklen

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The TV crews swarmed around the table with a big pot brewing between Chino Rheem and Henrik Hecklen. The board read {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Rheem checked to Hecklen who tossed in a bet of 330,000.

Rheem was in the tank but still chatting up a storm. "One more second guys, I promise. I'm just really hoping he shows be ace-ten. That's all I can beat." Hecklen sat silently waiting for Rheem to make a decision.

After a few more seconds, Rheem banged his chips into the pot and Hecklen showed him the bad news. "Flush," he said as he turned over {7-Spades}{6-Spades} to scoop a healthy pot from Rheem.

Zajmovic Finds Aces and a Chop

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ema Zajmovic opened to 45,000 from middle position and found a call from the player on the button, along with Kyle Julius in the small blind.

With the action on the big blind, he cut out a three-bet to 205,000, and when it was back on Zajmovic, she moved all in for roughly 850,000. The button, and Julius folded, and the big blind called.

Zajmovic: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The dealer spread a {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{Q-Hearts} board, and Zajmovic and her opponent chopped it up.

Green Picks off Haro's Bluff

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Brian Green
Brian Green

Three players were in the hand when the dealer spread the flop of {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The action checked to Alexander Haro on the button who bet 75,000. The small blind called and Brian Green called from the big blind.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and all three players checked quickly. The river brought the {4-Hearts} and both of the blinds checked again. Haro took a shot at the pot with a bet of 150,000 and the small blind laid his hand down. Green, however, quickly called and Haro acknowledged a good call. Green tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and raked in the pot.

More Piles for Altman

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Brian Altman looked to have put in a wager of 305,000 on a {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board from the hijack, only to have his opponent in the cutoff make it 805,000. Altman shoved all in for 1.8 million or so more and the player in the hijack picked up his cards, drew them to his body to give them a last look and then dumped them with a shake of the head.

Odonnell Takes a Big One and Shows Quads

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action with a huge pot already in the middle of the table nearing one million chips, Shaun Odonnell was facing off against one other player who was in the small blind. The board showed {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and the player who was first to act put out a bet of what looked like 345,000.

Odonnell dropped into the tank and thought for a bit, then asked to see the other players stack before moving all in with more chips. The other player promptly folded his hand.

"I mean I have quads and the guy is betting into me," Odonnel said after the hand showing his {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. He scooped the massive pot and moved over 2.5 million chips.

Gross Ousts Another

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

A player in the cutoff was all in for about 200,000 and at risk when we got to Alexander Gross' table, with Gross having called with {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The cutoff had {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a slight edge but that evaporated on the {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. The {2-Clubs} turn gave the at-risk player a gutter but the {9-Spades} didn't do it.
