Josephy Shoves the River

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The board was down {8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, and Cliff Josephy bet 275,000 from under the gun. Kunal Patel was in the cutoff and called before the dealer put down the {3-Hearts}.

Josephy was sitting with around 1.6m behind him, and he put Patel to the test by moving all in. Patel had 750,000 and would have to put his tournament life at risk to call. Patel thought through his decision out loud and the two players spoke, exchanging laughter before Patel reluctantly let his hand go into the muck and gave Josephy the win.

Kelly Minkin

Shannon Shorr and Kelly Minkin have been involved in numerous pots together so far today, with the two big stacks seated right next to one another.

Schwartz Busts to Koren

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

All the money went in preflop with Jake Schwartz at risk to Artur Koren with the covering stack. Schwartz was all in for a bit less than a million.

Jake Schwartz: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Artur Koren: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and that meant that Schwartz would be sent to the rail while Koren moved to right around two million chips.

Gazlay Cracks Yankov's Kings to Survive

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Krasimir Yankov raised to 55,000 from early position and it folded to Daniel Wilson in the hijack. Wilson re-raised to 170,000 and with the action on Brayden Gazlay in the small blind he moved all in for 656,000.

Yankov took his time and after about a minute in the tank he slid out the calling chips. Wilson folded and the hands were shown.

Brayden Gazlay: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Krasimir Yankov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and Gazlay paired his ace in the window to take control of the hand. The turn {5-Clubs} and river {4-Clubs} were no help to Yankov and Gazlay earned the double up.
