Artur Koren Eliminated in 48th Place ($156,265)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Artur Koren
Artur Koren

Artur Koren raised it up to 260,000 from the hijack and Henrik Hecklen called on the button. Out of the small blind, big stack Aram Zobian, who had been unstoppable as of lately, three-bet to 1,150,000. Koren almost instantly moved all in for around 3.1 million, which forced out Hecklen, and Zobian called.

Artur Koren: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Aram Zobian: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop instantly improved Zobian to a pair of aces and Koren stood up from his chair, turned around and grabbed his phone. Both the {4-Clubs} turn and the {2-Spades} river were blanks and the German, that now calls Vienna his home, was eliminated in 48th place for $156,265.

Ubaid Habib Eliminated in 47th Place ($156,265)

Ubaid Habib

Nirath Rean raised to 260,000 and Ubaid Habib three-bet all in for 2,145,000 from the big blind. The pair had a lively conversation back and forth before Rean slammed the chips down in the middle to call.

Nirath Rean: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Ubaid Habib: {q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

"Oooh, dominated," said Alexander Haro.

The flop came {j-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Spades}.

"I need your king, you need my ten," said Rean. The turn {9-Hearts} gave Rean extra outs to send Habib home. The river {8-Spades} was one of them, with Rean rivering his straight to eliminate Habib.

James Obst Eliminated in 46th Place ($156,265)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
James Obst
James Obst

A raise to 300,000 by Aram Zobian was followed by the three-bet shove of James Obst for approximately 3.1 million and once again Zobian called instantly when it was his turn to act.

James Obst: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}
Aram Zobian: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop was of no help, but the Aussie picked up a sweat on the {6-Clubs} turn.

"Seems fair," Zobian said.

The {6-Hearts} on the river, however, was of no help for Obst, and he departed in 46th place for $156,265.

"Good game, it was nice playing with you," Zobian added and continued his hot streak after the previous break to send yet another opponent to the rail.

Ming Xi: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Ricky Pyne: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Rean led out with a bet of 500,000. Zhu raised to 1,113,000 and Cynn quickly folded. Rean called to see the turn.

Ryan Phan raised to 350,000 from under the gun, and Benjamin Pollak defended his big blind. The flop came down {6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and Pollak check-called a 425,000 bet from Phan.

The {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Pollak checked. Phan bet around 1.6m, enough to put Pollak all in and the Frenchman called.

Ryan Phan: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Benjamin Pollak: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Pollak was drawing dead as Phan held two pair. The insignificant river card was put down and last year's Main Event third-place finisher Pollak saw his 2018 deep run come to an end after he took 42nd place for $189,165.
